Imported from Italy, Dry Red Wine
Direct from Winemaker Philippe's little brother, Jean-Francois Coquard, who is the winemaker at a small Italian winery, located in the Lombardy region of Northern Italy. Medium-bodied red with aromas reminiscent of eucalyptus, red beets, little berries and notes of almond on the finish. Made from their estate-grown Italian Bonarda grape.
Grape: 100% Bonarda
Production Method: crushed, destemmed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks
Aging: six months in stainless steel tanks
Sweetness: dry
Alcohol: 13%
Serving Temperature: 60º - 65º
Ageability: 3-5 years
History: started importing Little Brother Bonarda in 2002
The Wollersheim Winery sits on a scenic hillside overlooking the Wisconsin River, just across from Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin.
