RUBY NOUVEAU TASTING

Open to the public. 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Taste the 2008 Ruby Nouveau wine, the first wine of the new harvest, in the winery Vineyard Room along with an array of specialty Wisconsin cheeses. The Ruby Nouveau is an estate-grown dry red with enticing fresh flavors and a zesty finish. It is the perfect holiday wine as it is meant to be enjoyed young and pairs well with holiday foods, such as Thanksgiving turkey.

The winery’s new “A Vintage Christmas” event offers a chance to taste wine, find unique gifts, and gain holiday entertaining tips, plus Christmas carolers will share sounds of the season. Wollersheim Winery - Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin
Taste vintages ranging from 2001 to 2007 of Wollersheim Winery's Port. Also featuring a "preview taste" of our Tawny Port 2004 not yet released. The evening will also include: light food provided by Great Wolf Lodge of Wisconsin Dells, presented by Chef John Williams, live piano music played by Daniel Anderson with vocals by Katie Gaynor and a cheese selection provided by Sid Cook of Carr Valley Cheese.
Tickets are $75 and are limited and must be purchased in advance. A ticket to this special event would make a wonderful gift. 100% of each ticket sold to benefit Brain Cancer Research.
PORT RELEASE CELEBRATION

A break from Wisconsin’s winter! Join us as we celebrate the release of our Port wine. Take a behind the scenes look at the making of our Port. Tour behind the scenes of our fermentation room, underground wine cellars and other production areas not usually open to the public. Grapevine pruning demonstrations, cooking with wine, and talks by our winemaker scheduled each day. Something for the whole family. No admission fee. Open to the public. 10:00 am- 4:00 pm
